Legal expertise, practical experience and strategic vision
Markus Wiget, born in Milan on April 3, 1967, graduated from the DSM German School in Milan in 1986.
Law degree from the Catholic University of Milan in 1989/1990 with a thesis on criminal procedure entitled “The New Criminal Trial. Comparative profiles of inquisitorial and accusatorial procedural systems: two experiences in comparison and the third way” – Prof. Angelo Giarda.
Lawyer since 1992. Admitted to the Milan Bar Association since 1994. Enrolled in the Special Register of the Supreme Court of Cassation Lawyers since 2007.
He founded his firm in 2001 and has been practicing criminal law for more than 30 years, with a predominantly international and cross-border practice, but he has also gained considerable experience in civil, commercial and corporate matters.
He specializes in providing legal advice and assistance to individuals, entrepreneurs, executives and HNWIs, as well as leading companies in various industrial, commercial and service sectors.
His expertise today includes in particular financial, tax, corporate and bankruptcy criminal law, as well as occupational health and safety offenses, crimes against the individual, property and honor, administrative liability of entities under Legislative Decree 231/2001 and compliance in general, international judicial assistance.
His clients come from the Italian and foreign financial, banking and insurance, pharmaceutical-chemical, medical and hospital, automotive, energy, media and entertainment, luxury and sports sectors.
He has participated in the most important trials and criminal investigations in Italy, defending Italian and foreign clients.
He has held prestigious positions as Chairman or member of Board of Auditors and Supervisory Boards of multinational and Italian groups.

Raffaele Castella
Born in Cinquefrondi (RC) on 22.05.1984
Master’s Degree in Law in October 2010, at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart developing a multi-disciplinary thesis entitled “From punishment to the re-education of the convicted“.
The writing of the thesis was accompanied by a period of study and research at the “Luigi Daga” Penitentiary Institute in Laureana di Borrello – Reggio Calabria, as part of the Ministry of Justice’s experimental attenuated custody project.
He obtained the Master of II Level in Corporate Criminal Law – Luiss Guido Carli University of Rome, 2015, directed by Prof. Avv. Paola Severino, with a thesis on corporate criminal law entitled “The scope of application of art. 2639 c.c. and the subjects criminally responsible” with a focus on the so-called “alarm signals” in the board of directors.
He has been a member of the Milan Bar Association since 2018.
He has been an active member of the Alumni Association of the Collegio Ludovicianum of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore since its establishment in 2023.
He has been collaborating with the firm since April 2015.

Silvia Lattanzi
Born in Taranto on August 29, 1990.
Master’s Degree in Law in July 2014, from the University of Bari “Aldo Moro”, with a grade of 110/110 cum laude and academic acclaim and an experimental and multidisciplinary degree in criminal – tax law entitled “Convergences between tax and criminal facts and problems posed by the tort in tax matters” – Prof. Antonio Uricchio.
She held the position of intern in training internship ex D. Lgs. no. 69/2013 at the G.I.P./G.U.P. Section of the Court of Taranto from October 2014 to April 2016.
She obtained the Master’s Degree Level II “El ejercicio de la Abogacìa” at the Universidad Internacional de la Rioja (Madrid, España) in April 2017.
She is a member of the editorial staff for the legal journal Salvis Juribus, since January 2018, whose contributions include:
- “Trial Studium 2000: culpable poisoning of land and groundwater,” published 26.11.2018;
